Originally written and performed by The Carpenters, and later by Dusty Springfield, Anne Murray did a cover of this song that made it an international hit.

I love Sarah Geronimo's version, which inspired my version!

Released in 1977 by The Carpenters, Richard said he thought this song was perfect for Karen’s voice, but because it was longer than 4 minutes, the record company did not push it to the Top 40 radio stations.

Dusty Springfield’s version was never released as a single, and was simply buried on her Living Without Your Love album.

Anne Murray’s version then released in 1979 topped the charts and became the most well known of all the versions, even though it was not her originally song.

I hope you enjoy my version.
