Originally released in 1965, “The Impossible Dream,” was the most popular song from the Broadway musical Man of La Mancha.

This was the first song I learned, and I performed it in school when I was only twelve.

It has been covered by such notables as Frank Sinatra, Jin Nabors, The Temptations, Shirley Bassey, Robert Goulet, Glan Campbell, Cher, Roberta Flack, Elvis, Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin… well the list goes on and on.

It was awarded the Contemporary Classics Award from the Songwriter's Hall of Fame.

It is such an inspirational song, I really just had to do it!
